Padel4all in 2022 – the Highlights
8 January 2023
What a year it’s been for the team here at Padel4all.
We’re all delighted to have welcomed so many new members to this great game – we hit the 500 mark only last month. It’s just great to see so many more people taking up the sport. Here’s hoping we see at least another 500 new folks join up next year, although, in reality, we suspect the total will far exceed that number.
Meanwhile, 2022 was also the year of another exciting new centre opening. This time at Lockleaze in Bristol. The August opening of the four-court centre makes it the largest in the South West. It also adds another centre to the existing two we already have – at Basset Down in Swindon and Southend’s Garon Park. And it means we’re another Padel centre closer to reaching our target of 20 by 2025 (including four more in other UK destinations next year).
Padel4all tournaments and social events
There have also been a number of social tournaments at our centres. The first-ever Padel4all-hosted championship was held at Southend’s Leisure and Tennis Complex last month, with seventeen pairs participating in the much-anticipated event. That was an adult event, but we’re pleased to say there have also been in-house junior events – as a result, the sport is becoming increasingly popular amongst children and youths. But not only that, we are particularly delighted to see so many people turning up for our social events too. This includes our recent coffee, cake and Padel coffee morning at Bristol, with its loud pumping music and homemade cakes going down a storm.
Padel is a game that the whole family can play, after all. So, having a variety of ages attending games and social events makes perfect sense.
@HEAD_PADEL: “Padel is a sport which combines action with fun and social interaction. It’s a great sport for players of all ages and skills, as it is both quick and easy to pick up. Most players get the basics within the first half an hour of playing so that they can enjoy the game.”
Gift vouchers for all
Meanwhile, if you’ve been too busy working and playing Padel to go out and get gift buying, then how about a Padel4all voucher as a gift? There are various different vouchers to buy. Choose from:
