It’s been a great start to 2022 and we had good reason to extend our New Year celebrations when we recently welcomed our 100th member. 

 The membership milestone has been reached within 4-months of opening and not only demonstrates how popular padel is becoming but also recognises all the hard work and effort the team do in making the centre feel like a special place to our members. 

 Tina Morse, Front of House, said; 

‘It’s amazing to see how many new faces go on to return and become members. Basset Down has a real community spirit which is why I really enjoy working here.  

 I love watching how quickly people grasp the sport and the buzz they get from playing. I think padel is going to become really popular across the country when more people get the opportunity to play.’  

To mark the achievement, we showed our appreciation by presenting our 100th member, Patricia, with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. More widely, a big thank you to all our members for your continued support and helping grow our community.
