Game, set, recycle: Giving padel balls a new life
20 February 2025
At Padel4all, we’re passionate about growing the sport of padel in a way that’s both exciting and responsible. With so many new padel clubs and courts opening across the UK, participation is booming—which is fantastic! But with that growth comes a challenge: what happens to all the used padel balls?
By the end of 2025, millions of padel balls will have been used worldwide, and without proper recycling solutions, too many will end up in landfill. That’s why we’re proud to support an important sustainability initiative that gives these balls a second life.
Teaming Up with Recycaball
We’ve partnered with Recycaball, a fantastic organisation that works with clubs across the UK to recycle used tennis and padel balls. Many of these balls still have plenty of life left in them and can be put to good use in schools, charities, and other community programmes.
How It Works
♻️ Recycling bins are now installed at all our Padel4all Centres.
📦 Once full, the collected balls are sent to Recycaball for processing and redistribution.
💚 The proceeds from re-sale are donated to charities and good causes across the UK.
Join Us in Making a Difference
At Padel4all, we’re going one step further—we’ll donate all proceeds we receive from this initiative to charity. But here’s where you come in: we want YOU to help choose which charities benefit!
If there’s a cause close to your heart, let us know by emailing us at play@padel4all.com.
Together, we can make padel not just a great sport to play, but also a greener and more sustainable one. Drop your used balls in the bin next time you play, and let’s make an impact—on and off the court!
