On Saturday we held our first Super Social Session of the year. Eight attendees played games of padel in rotation before finishing off the session with some delicious bacon baps and coffee!

We also had Thorpe Bay Lawn Tennis Club come and visit us on Saturday. They booked out all 3 covered courts for 2 hours with 16 tennis players in attendance giving padel a go. It was great to see such a big turn out and seeing people give a new sport a try!

The Padel Series Tournament commenced on Sunday with some excellent padel played throughout this all-day event. Group 1 winners Nicole and Trevor were undefeated, as were Group 2 winners James and Ross. The winners of Group 3 were Gary and Steve, whilst the ultimate winners of Group 4 were Aston and James who defeated Stuart and Richard in a nail-biting play-off final. Zack (Garon Park’s Head Coach) said he’s really looking forward to the next Padel Series Tournament!
