We are delighted to announce a new partnership with Swindon Town FC. The relationship will focus on bringing the padel and footballing communities together and deliver targeted local outreach initiatives which we are working alongside the club’s Community Foundation to deliver.   

STFC’s Head of Commercial, Danny Lee, commented; 

‘As a football club, and along with the STFC Community Foundation, we are passionate about assisting the community with health and well-being and we feel that the padel centre at Basset Down is really exciting for the town. Padel is not only a fun activity but also fantastic for your health and we are delighted to partner with Dax and the Padel4all team on this. It is also important that we work together on driving these new facilities for the town of Swindon.’ 

 To launch the partnership Town’s Head Coach Ben Garner, Director of Football Ben Chorley, Assistant Coach Scott Lindsey, and Danny Lee popped down for a taster session and played a few sets.  

Ben Chorley commented;   

‘I did get competitive but that’s how sport should be. It was great to try something new and meet the whole team at Padel4all who were very warm and welcoming. It’s great for fitness and communication and to develop skills such as quicker reactions and full body cardio, which can be difficult to replicate in a gym environment’. 

The announcement kicks off the start of our ‘Football February’ month where we have a number of events and competitions planned. There will be opportunities to win tickets for Swindon’s home games and the offer of free padel gifts and sessions at the centre.  Stay tuned across our socials for further details.
